Event Information

When and where?

We would like to invite you for the 2nd AVR Challenge event, Friday June 7th, Veegenszaal, at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK), The Hague (12h-17h).

What is the AVR Challenge about?

Unisys, Wavestone and CEPS, on behalf of DGReform and funded by the EU, are conducting the project “Enhancing Cybersecurity Education in the Netherlands”. The project is executed in close cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, TNO, dcypher as well as the Dutch universities; VUSec, TU Delft, University of Twente, Radboud University, University Leiden, University of Groningen.
The project is part of dcypher’s roadmap Automated Vulnerability Research (in English and Dutch).

The Goal

As part of this project the 2nd AVR Challenge is being organized. The goal of the challenge is to find vulnerabilities in software using automated tools. Of course, with the goal to have them fixed before they can be exploited by cyber criminals. An ever-increasing threat in the connected world we live in.

The Challenge

During the challenge, teams of students will compete against each other to determine who best can find vulnerabilities in target software created by Secura. The challenge itself will run during the first week of June and will be closed by the 2nd AVR Challenge event on June 7th.

Target Audience

The target audience for the event is anyone active in the field of cybersecurity, software testing, education and talent development in these areas. Both from a policymaking perspective as well as hands on application.

The Challenge

To attend the event you can register via this form. More information on the 2nd AVR Challenge can be found at AVR Challenge.
Please feel free to share this invitation with Colleagues who are also active in this field.
Thank you and looking forward to meeting you the 7th of June.
